About The Role

As the Head of Growth & Membership for UberEats Taiwan you will craft the acquisition/engagement strategy and help drive business growth by analyzing consumer life journeys. You will also craft and implement our membership strategy, with the goal of improving the membership value proposition across our 17 cities. The role is also an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with several regional cross-functional teams to initiate impactful campaigns with creativity and analytical attitude.

Your Impact in Role:

  • Shape and implement the consumer and membership strategy by deriving useful insights and providing recommendations to drive growth.
  • Use a consumer lifecycle approach across acquisition, engagement, membership, resurrection and retention, to provide user value and improve overall user experience.
  • Influence and coordinate a variety of levers, some of which are owned by your team (promotion constructs targeting various customer lifecycle stages), and cross functional teams (brand marketing, performance marketing) to achieve shared strategic objectives.
  • Provide operational plans including promo budget allocation, promo schemes and communication strategy using full-funnel channels.

The Experience You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in data-driven roles, digital marketing, strategy consulting, CRM, product owner.
  • Operation experience in at least one of the following domains: customer lifecycle/ segmentation modeling, growth hacking, subscription management, and/or membership strategy for internet-based consumer services
  • An analytical attitude, sharp commercial and operational savvy, and strong problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data in SQL or Excel. Experience in using data visualization tools such as tableau/Power BI and/or tools is a big plus.
  • Excellent in presentation and English in verbal/written communication!

  • Reset, Refresh and Recharge: we have a generous paid leave policy, providing paid leave in addition to the statutory annual leave depending on your location (excluding certain roles in the CommOps org). Additional eligibility requirements apply.
  • Personal health and wellbeing - depending on location, you can access a healthcare plan or reimbursement for a plan of your choice up to a nominated value. You will also receive a monthly wellbeing allowance to use throughout the year across a range of items including; gym / fitness memberships, mindfulness apps, fitness equipment, ski passes and more. We also provide Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that connect you to resources & support.
  • Uber has always been a flexible organisation and COVID has only amplified this. Our global policy is 50% of time in office, and employees can apply to be fully remote if you think that’s best for you. We also provide opportunities to work for one month a year in another Uber location. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber’s cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
