About the Role

Uber Payments B.V. is looking for a Program Manager Payments who will be responsible for ownership of the UPBV new product review and approval process. It will be your job to refine and govern how UPBV reviews new Uber products launching in the European Economic Area, provides payment related requirements and secures approvals for launch, as well as post-launch governance care.

Uber Payments BV (UPBV) sits within the broader Uber group and provides regulated payments services to Uber and Uber's customers in the European Economic Area (EEA).

You will be joining the dots between internal UPBV teams (Compliance, Finance, Legal and Risk) and the greater Uber organization Lines of Business (Product, Engineering, Operations and Regional Business Lines) to ensure products and features are in line with UPBVs licensing requirements in the EEA. In this role you will be part of a larger Product Operations Team and reporting to Product Operations Lead - Payments EMEA.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and track stakeholder product launch roadmaps to align UPBV on product launch plans and deadlines.
  • Triage incoming product and feature requests based on their relevance to UPBV scope and required actions.
  • Program Manage the UPBV cross-functional (compliance, legal, risk, operations and finance) product review process to set, communicate and drive to completion payments related product requirements.
  • Manage UPBV product approval process with the UPBV Managing Board to ensure timely approvals are achieved and documentation meets required industry and corporate standards.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, challenges and payments requirements, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, including internal partners and leadership teams.
  • Manage product status updates and dependencies based on key stakeholder (Engineering and Product) priorities and roadmaps.

What You'll Need

  • Experience managing projects in an agile environment with a large number of diverse stakeholders, preferably in tech-native environments.
  • Succinct Communicator - ability to break down complex issues and communicate at all levels in the organisation.
  • Highly motivated. Ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative.
  • Solution driven with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Familiarity with engineering and development process; experience managing technical scope, timing, and prioritisation.
  • A background in consulting, payments or a regulated financial services environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to aggregate information and create executive-level summaries based on multiple inputs is a strong advantage.
