About the Role

We're looking for a Mid-Market Sales Executive to help us scale Eats on Uber for Business. Sitting at the intersection of two of the fastest growing Uber business units - Uber Eats and Uber for Business - Eats on Uber for Business has become one of the most exciting opportunities within Uber.

In this role, you will pursue new customers by effectively communicating the value proposition of the platform. You will be responsible for building new business pipeline, forecasting opportunities and constructing territory and account plans to achieve your quota.

Businesses spend nearly $200 billion annually on food, and delivery is a growing percentage of that spend. Whether we're feeding employees working from home, virtual event attendees, or essential workers ordering lunch every day, there are numerous opportunities to help our clients support their employees, customers and overall business objectives with meal delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Drive partnerships and sales of the Eats on Uber for Business platform, services, and solutions to target prospect companies through strategic conversations at all levels within these organizations
  • Prepare a go-to market plan and sales strategy; prospect potential clients and conduct detailed follow-ups to close deals
  • Conduct needs analysis to uncover cross-selling opportunities
  • Hit quarterly and annual revenue targets (quota carrying role)
  • Plan and execute sales strategy and provide consistent and accurate forward-looking analysis
  • Probe for objections, remove obstacles, and eliminate barriers
  • Maintain the customer relationship and grow the business
  • Participate in periodic team reviews and updates on business progress, best-practice sharing etc.
  • Build documents like process playbooks, performance trackers etc.
  • Be a key part of the Eats for Business team
  • Understand the E2E business (strategy, sales, product, ops...)
  • Be a voice for the customer by influencing the E4B product evolution
  • Act as Mentor and Advisor on Eats for Business to your Platform Sales peers

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years in a full sales cycle role: prospecting, pitching & closing is required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in English and French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Mid-Market space focusing on prospecting and closing
  • Selling into various verticals and solution selling
  • Experience within the tech environment
  • Candid, meticulous, adaptable, and dedicated team-player who gets energy from building businesses
  • You're a self-starter and take initiative to seize opportunities: The Uber for Business team is evolving every day and requires highly motivated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of business in their market
  • Proven ability to prioritize selling activities and follow through in a timely fashion
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
