About the Role

As the Global Sales Onboarding Manager for Uber for Business, you'll own, manage and optimize global new hire onboarding for all customer-facing sales roles. You'll empower new team members with the skills, knowledge, processes and tools required to succeed in their role. Your approach will drive global consistency and incorporate the right level of regional nuance.

In addition to owning the overall strategy and vision for the onboarding experience, you'll design and develop onboarding programs and content. You might facilitate training directly or leverage a train-the-trainer model. Finally, you'll measure and optimize the programs on an ongoing basis.

You're a self starter who forms strong relationships, assesses opportunities, develops informed solutions and delivers measurable results. You can execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality. You hold yourself to a high standard and are highly accountable. You're skilled at simplifying the complex and influencing without authority. Most of all, you're passionate about the power of learning and the impact Enablement can have on a sales organization.

What You'll Do

  • Own the vision and strategy for global onboarding, regularly communicating progress and results to sales leadership and key stakeholders
  • Deliver onboarding programs and manage them end-to-end, including needs analysis, design/development, delivery, measurement, and optimization.
  • Optimize existing learning content & curriculum to better meet the needs of a global audience, leveraging industry best practices and adult learning expertise
  • Partner closely with reps and managers to deeply understand competencies, strengths and opportunities to ensure onboarding programs are comprehensive and aligned to business needs
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to integrate the right level of regional nuance into the curriculum
  • Prepare and present data on impact/performance of onboarding programs during quarterly program reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Enablement or Learning & Development
  • Expert level training and facilitation skills (in-person, virtual)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results at a large scale
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Experience operating effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt work schedule to accommodate working on a global team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience leading Onboarding Programs
  • Instructional design experience with a focus on developing, implementing, and continuously improving online and in-person learning experiences.
  • Experience building and iterating on large scale learning programs.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
  • Experience working on a global team based in multiple time zones
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50% annually
