The Senior Strategy & Planning Associate partners with business leaders to provide strategic, operational and analytical support. We're looking for someone who can set a vision and tackle problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details. Working across different functions and geographies will mean you will have considerable visibility of business operations and opportunities to drive meaningful business outcomes.
What You Will Do
As a member of Uber's North Asia Strategy & Planning Team, you will help drive the strategic decision-making processes throughout the region through your analytical and operational approach. The right person for this role should have deep analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in, and a passion for developing and mentoring people.
As a Sr Strategy & Planning Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our Mobility business in North Asia has a clear strategy & detailed action plan to execute on it. You will manage yearly, quarterly and monthly planning processes, run Monthly and Weekly Business Reviews, connect the dots between different initiatives, and work hand in had with colleagues from Operations, Marketing, Community Ops, and other teams
What You Will Need
- Analytical mind & numerical aptitude - crucial as you build and maintain financial & operating models
- Problem solving - from defining the issue to finding the optimal way to solve it
- Relationship building - critical in our collaborative and cross-functional organization
- Presentation/ public speaking - you can rally people to your cause
- Previous experience in consulting, finance, or tech fields
- Chinese language skills a strong advantage
