Sr Regional Operations Manager, Uber Eats
About the Role
Uber Eats is looking to grow the Regional Operations team in LatAm.
The mission of the Operations team is simple: make Uber Eats the preferred delivery platform for restaurants, couriers and customers.
In this role within the Restaurant Operations team, you will be working for the Restaurant Growth team, which strives to drive growth for our restaurant partners while helping the company hit its key profitability goals!
But what does working on "Growth" actually mean in this case? It means managing one of our biggest bet globally - Ads, or sponsored listings.
Your role will truly be about building from scratch!
You will be responsible for growing and driving adoption of a rapidly growing business unit, and specifically responsible for growing Ads Net Revenue, a major lever to help us deliver on our global OKR of profitability.
What You'll Do
The person in this role will develop a deep understanding of the potential of the Ads business for Uber Eats, what our merchants need from such an offering, and will build out a cohesive strategy to drive adoption of and engagement with the Ads product. They will support product rollouts, develop reporting and analytics, educate Sales teams on how best to sell Ads to restaurants, and work with cross-functional partners (Product, CRM, Country Teams, Sales, Account Managers, Legal) to launch new products and processes in LatAm. In addition to these operational duties, this person will be responsible for developing and promoting the long-term strategy and direction of the Ads business in LatAm across a diverse set of teams as well as to senior leadership, in order to secure adequate resourcing to capitalise on the momentum behind this new endeavor for Uber Eats.
What You'll Need
- At least 4+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, management consulting, or other related experience
- Strong SQL - statistics.
- Proven project management skills with an ability to set up and manage processes and projects from the ground up.
- A creative and flexible mindset
- Validated problem solving skills with an ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require in order to structure the challenges we face into concrete action plans.
- Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
- Great communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills with experience working in diverse, cross-functional and global environments.
