Senior Program Manager

As we build and scale our Global Delivery Sales Systems & Operations to support Uber Eats, we are looking for a Release Train Engineer in the US. You will support the release planning across multiple workstreams and communication to our partners. You will set the standard for all Salesforce.com(SFDC) processes and other productivity tooling as well as support the global roadmap and rollout activities with minimal interruption to the sales group.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Act as a servant leader and coach to the Agile Release Train (ART) and assist the teams in delivering value. Be a liaison between partners, other ARTs, and development teams to foster communication, manage risks, advance impediments, and help drive continuous relentless improvement across the ART.

  • Understand and demonstrate the Agile Manifesto daily

  • Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.

  • Facilitate the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the ART. This includes:

  • Facilitates ART PI Planning Event

  • Working with the ART team who prioritizes the features to be considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle.

  • Create data-driven insights into the delivery and execution of the ART using relevant portfolio, Release Train, and team level metrics.

  • Facilitating the ART team's refinement of features to be considered in the next PI planning cycle to meet the Feature Definition of Ready.

  • Assists the ART in communication and coordination with partners and customers during feature definition and delivery.

  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination for and during quarterly planning.

  • Leading change to the ART's PI plan and the impacts of those changes.

  • Drive cross team, ART, and departmental impediments, planning, collaboration, and coordination.

  • Provide regular and open communication across the program and partners for clarity and awareness of feature progress and impediments.

  • Understand, visualize and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.

  • Effectively communicate and Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity.

  • Work across partners and teams to continuously improve.

  • Ensure the overall cost, schedule, and performance of the program.

  • Raises impediments, handles risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience as a member of an agile team

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner

  • A solid grasp of how to scale Lean and Agile practices and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development program.

  • Experience in Release and Iteration Planning and resulting ceremonies

  • Experience in Writing and Breaking/Slicing user stories and features

  • Experience in managing and prioritizing a Product Backlog

  • Consistent record of success executing in a scaled Agile environment

  • Prior experience with program level reporting

  • Prior experience fostering team self-organization and continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean principles and practices

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior experience leading through influence

  • Fluent in JIRA and Confluence

  • Effective at building relationships with stakeholders, and cross functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust

  • Excellent written and verb

  • Scrum certification

  • SAFe Agilist Certification (SA)

  • Experience with sales processes (e.g., acquisition workflows, lead generation, territory management), sales compliance processes, systems (e.g. SFDC, CRM, CLM, CMS, Tableau, Oracle, HIVE), and datasets
