Program Manager - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

About the Role

  • Create a roadmap and plan for 2021 focusing on three pillars of DEI with a focus on increasing women representation
  • Build working relationships with HRBPs, TA, Global DEI, PoD, teams
  • Leverage ERG networks to deliver on the plan for 2021

What You'll Do:

  • Devise our DEI plan and execute for the region
  • Create roadmap aligned with regional and global priorities for the business from a talent and DEI standpoint
  • Design and manage programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent
  • Leverage global DEI programs and apply to regional and local context to be implemented at scale
  • Report and track regional DEI metrics, build visibility on progress to leadership, highlighting wins and opportunities
  • Bring to life Uber's value "We celebrate differences" in everything
  • Liaising with communications team to increase awareness of programs
  • Create and manage budget for the region
  • Building relationships and network
  • Build working relationships with HRBPs, TA, Global DEI, PoD, ERG, comms team etc. teams to seamlessly implement programs and initiatives
  • Develop, influence and support an internal network of DEI advocates
  • Developing industry partnerships and work with external partners to create custom programs to be address specific need
  • Engage externally to benchmark best practice and use latest research in the domain to deliver meaningful impact
  • Successful role holder
  • Ability to work with ambiguous ideas, translating them to actionable and measurable outcomes / programs
  • Ability to build x-functional relationships and influence without authority
  • Ability to present hard hitting / challenging reality to leaders and stakeholders in simple terms
  • Build creative solutions to problems

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for people experience
  • Bachelors degree may be in a people or organisational field, eg Psychologist, HR, DEI, Organisational design.
