Content Specialist III

About the Role

We are looking for Content Specialists to work alongside our Regional / Country Community Operations team and own the design and development of Content Support Strategy across all of our LoBs.This multifaceted role requires systematic organization, creativity and proficiency in writing & developing content that will ultimately help provide a seamless experience to our support agents & customers. Also, being the gate keeper and primary point of contact for our external partners.

What You'll Do:

You will work on a diverse set of copywriting requests and content updates under tight timeframes, working closely with various business partners in Uber Taipei. You will have an opportunity to strongly influence customer sentiment during moments that matter by defining what we will say to them, and how we convey it during their support interactions. To enable this, you will need to interact and manage stakeholder relationships (both locally and internationally) to keep in sync of the fast changing business. To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Content design and strategy: Develop content from one-pagers/documents shared by Operations or product teams on new feature or roll-outs. The content should suit the local language tone & manner guideline and must show understanding of customer needs
  • Stakeholder management: Work closely with teams on the ground to understand the nature of requests and help deliver content that meets the stakeholder's requirements
  • Upkeep of material: Ensure that content is updated as per the change in policies, local guidelines, and any new releases
  • Executional excellence and quality output: Be organised in delivery of work and ensure that output delivered meets content & language quality
  • Problem solving: Should be able to work cross functionally and with the different teams, to spot and identify problems and suggest possible solutions
  • Coaching & mentoring: You will be expected to own the delivery of content for all LoBs and will also manage the output of the internal and external team members. You will need to ensure that their output meets the quality and provide them feedback, coach, and mentor them accordingly

  • Good writing skills: You can create content in an organised & concise manner so that the message is shared in the most efficient manner. Additionally, you are adept at local language nuances and will know how to structure messages positively
  • A team player: You collaborate across function or region to get the best possible outcome for your content and are willing to work towards the development of your team members
  • Process driven: You have superior organizational skills, and constantly look to iterate on things to make them more effective and scalable.
  • Motivated: You understand the impact of a highly satisfied, excited crew of users; you are slightly obsessive-compulsive about grinding away at projects.
  • Positive influencer: A strong Uber culture advocate a strong people's person
