About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Transition Specialist to lead several region-wide transitions for the organization. The specialist will lead these requests to ensure that all team members are in alignment when it comes to the strategic launch or movement of work into the BPOs. The specialist might also work on strategic APAC-wide projects that touch on sustained growth or continuous improvement for the greater organization.

What the Candidate Will Do

Partnership and communication with reginal program managers and leaders: The specialist is expected to work with each program manager or portfolio lead to ensure that we are partners in launching their teams and managing their footprint priorities. The specialist needs to be a thought partner, ensuring that we provide the best solutions and optimized strategy when it comes to project execution.

Enabling performance management and data reporting: The specialist will be highly involved in data reporting and performance management. The specialist will be accountable for leading conversations and providing visibility towards team performance, which will ultimately surface quick wins for the team or critical opportunity areas to action on during the transition.

Engaging with stakeholders and project team members: The specialist will consistently work with different project teams - in and outside of Uber -when it comes to launching new teams in the BPO. The coordination and collaboration needed for the projects span across support teams, namely Recruitment, L&D, WFM, ART, QA, Vendor Management, and BPO teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Inclination towards ownership, value, and continuous improvement: Above everything, we seek to improve and to add value to the org. We should be the platform that springs new and old teams to success. As such, strong ownership and a preference for value and improvements are a preferred qualification in joining the team.
  • Skilled in deck creation and sheets / dashboard building: Fluency and expertise in Slides and Sheets are highly preferred.
  • Experience in intake, transitions or migrations requests: We need a specialist with a fundamental understanding of what happens in intake, transitions, and migrations. For external candidates, exposure as a PM or lead in a migrations request would be preferred.
  • Strong experience in project management: We need a specialist that can enable strong project management in all strategic initiatives and movement requests. This includes exemplary performance in all stages of the project, namely initiation (scoping/pre-work, business case development), planning (resource management, migration framework development), execution (knowledge transfer, risk and issue management), and closure (post-go live follow-through, BAU stabilization).
  • Excellent partner management: Can act as the single POC for a roster of Client Services projects; facilitates all project-related cadence to ensure seamless collaboration across the various workstreams in the organization.
  • Functional expertise: We need someone that is eager to learn and can provide insights on business processes and structures in Uber. The ability to understand several moving pieces and to understand the different roles that each team plays will be vital to the role. For external candidates, this will be taught as you onboard.

  • High adaptability and flexibility: The needs of the business are ever-changing. This requires the team to be ready for any changes on problems and solutions that may no longer be relevant due to time or outside factors.
