Product Manager II, Uber for Business

About the Role

As a Product Manager on the Uber for Business Channels and Growth team, you'll be focused on driving small and medium (SMB) business adoption and retention. Join us as we supercharge our growth efficiency and scale this relatively startup-like arm of Uber. You will partner with Product, Engineering and business teams to define a roadmap, design new experiences and run experiments to test impact. You'll be a key player in expanding Uber for Business's market share and achieving our business objectives while getting to interface regularly with our customers to conduct research and prototypes . This is a rare 0 > 1 > 1000 opportunity that will expose you to every Uber line of business.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

  • Work closely with our UX, Data Science, and Ops partners to develop deep understanding of our customers and design intuitive and delightful experiences for SMB administrators and employees
  • Collaborate internally to scale SMB growth globally and manage all phases of product delivery including development, testing, and launch procedures in order to scale the program.
  • Minimum 4+ years Product Management experience, preferably having worked with B2B products or internal tools
  • User-centricity - examples from your past of product challenges that you powered through because you were unwilling to make your problems your users' problems.
  • Stellar design instincts and product taste.
  • Finger-tippiness with data - you just go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills- this will be an extremely cross-functional role, with stakeholder teams spanning multiple offices globally.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Design to shape our SMB growth strategy and determine how we make U4B invaluable to the SMB segment, globally.
  • Own the roadmap for self-serve onboarding and account management tools (desktop and mobile)
  • Work closely with our UX, Data Science, and Ops partners to develop deep understanding of our customers and design intuitive and delightful experiences for SMB administrators and employees
  • Collaborate internally to scale SMB growth globally and manage all phases of product delivery including development, testing, and launch procedures in order to scale the program.
  • Be incredibly truth-seeking and a champion of our small medium organizations and owners as well as their employees and customers
