Uber Eats recrute un.e Manager au sein de l'equipe Operations dans ses bureaux de Paris. La mission de l'equipe Ops est simple : faire d'Uber Eats la plateforme de livraison preferee des restaurants, coursiers et clients repartis dans les 200 villes ou nous operons en France.

Le role de Ops Manager est un poste cle pour Uber Eats et vous fera combiner chaque jour de nombreuses competences : gestion de projets, creation et automatisation de process, analyse avancee de donnees, redaction de contenu, interactions quotidiennes avec nos equipes Product, Communications et Legal, ainsi que notre equipe de City Managers sillonnant la France pour etre au contact des restaurants et coursiers sur le terrain au quotidien.

Vous serez amene.e a rejoindre l'une des differentes verticales de l'equipe Operations :

  • Courier Operations est en charge de creer des experiences optimales et des opportunites economiques perennes pour les 40 000 coursiers partenaires de l'application.
  • Eater Operations est responsable de l'acquisition, de l'engagement et de notre strategie promotionnelle aupres des millions de clients qui commandent chaque mois sur notre application.
  • Restaurant Operations s'occupe de fournir la meilleure experience possible a nos restaurants partenaires, depuis leur inscription et leur mise en ligne jusqu'a leur engagement au quotidien.
  • Marketplace Operations releve chaque jour tous les defis logistiques de notre plateforme operant 24/7 afin d'en ameliorer la securite, la fiabilite, la qualite et l'efficacite.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Gestion de projets : un Operations Manager gere ses projets depuis leur definition initiale jusqu'a leur implementation, et est responsable de fixer et suivre ses propres KPIs. Vous serez ainsi amene a interagir avec un grand nombre d'equipes en France et a travers le monde et a vous assurer de leur alignement afin d'assurer l'execution la plus rapide tout en maintenant les standards d'Uber en matiere d'excellence operationnelle !
  • Creation de process et d'outils : etre Operations Manager chez Uber Eats, c'est avant tout construire des process et des outils a destination des clients, des restaurants et coursiers partenaires ainsi que des equipes sur le terrain. Vous pourrez par exemple etre amene.e a automatiser nos campagnes promotionnelles, construire de nouvelles regles pour lutter contre la fraude, developper des partenariats innovants (equipements, securite routiere, hygiene alimentaire...) ou encore reduire la friction de lors de l'inscription des coursiers partenaires...
  • Analyse de donnees : Uber ne serait pas Uber sans un acces quasi-illimite a la data. Vous serez amene a construire de facon autonome vos propres analyses et dashboards pour mesurer le succes de vos projets.
  • Interactions avec les equipes Produit : vous assurerez le lien entre le terrain et nos equipes Produit basees a San Francisco, New York et Amsterdam. Vous vous ferez la voix du marche francais pour prioriser les futures evolutions de nos applications, et aiderez a deployer sur le terrain toutes les nouvelles fonctionnalites produit disponibles chaque semaine !

Votre profil

  • Vous avez au moins 2 ans d'experience idealement en startup, conseil ou finance.
  • Vous parlez couramment francais et anglais car les interactions avec d'autres membres des equipes Uber Eats a l'etranger sont quotidiennes.
  • Vous avez un esprit analytique et etes a l'aise avec les chiffres : la maitrise de SQL est un plus !
  • Vous aimez construire et optimiser des process rigoureux, et les concepts d'excellence operationnelle et de scalabilite vous attirent.
  • Vous aimez evoluer dans un univers changeant et dynamique.

About the Role

Uber Eats is looking for an Ops Manager to join its Central Operations team in Paris. Central Operations' mission is to make the Uber Eats platform the preferred food delivery platform for restaurants, couriers and eaters across the 200 cities where we operate in France.

Operations Manager is a key role for Uber Eats and combines various skills such as: project management, process creation and automation, advanced data analytics, daily interactions with our Product teams in New York and San Francisco, as well as with our City Manager teams, who are in contact with partners across France daily.

You will have the opportunity to join one of the Operations team's different verticals:

  • The Courier Operations team is in charge of creating the best experience for our courier partners.
  • The Eater Operations team is responsible for designing and implementing the best strategy for the acquisition and retention of our clients on the app.
  • The Restaurant Operations team tailors our approach to our restaurant partners from the moment they sign up on our platform to their daily engagement.
  • The Marketplace team figures out all the logistics needed for our platform to operate in the most reliable, secure and efficient way.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

  • Process & Tool Creation: One of an Operations Manager's biggest tasks at Uber Eats is to create processes and tools for our restaurants and couriers partners and teams in the field. For example, you might automate a marketing campaign, build new rules that help fight fraud, develop new partnerships (equipment, road safety, food safety...), optimize onboarding processes or create an identification system for delivery problems and then find scalable solutions to correct these.
  • Project Management: Operations Managers oversee projects from their initial definition until their final implementation. They are also responsible for defining and following project KPIs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with many different teams in France and across the world, ensuring alignment, quick execution - all while maintaining Uber's high standards for operational execution.
  • Data analysis: Uber wouldn't be uber without all of our data. You will autonomously create your own analyses and dashboards to measure your projects' success.
  • Interactions with Product teams: You will maintain links between on-the-ground teams and our Product teams based in San Francisco, New York and Amsterdam. You will be the voice of the French market, helping to prioritize future application changes, and you'll help launch all the new product functionalities each week across your market.

Basic Qualifications

  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in a start-up, consulting or in Finance.
  • You are fluent in French and English since you will be interacting with team members in France, but also with people from across the globe.
  • You have an appetite for data and are comfortable with numbers. SQL mastery is a definite plus!
  • You love to build and optimize rigorous processes. Finding scalable solutions and being a champion of operational excellence are interesting to you.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with ambiguity.
