Strategy & Operations Manager - Strategic Initiatives and Analytics

The Merchant (Restaurant) Strategy and Operations team reports directly to the General Manager and oversees general strategy for the restaurant side of the business, including building out the best and most compelling restaurant selection in Taiwan, and providing restaurants with the best offerings that enable them to grow and profit from our platform.

We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Manager to join us, supporting strategy formation and leading strategic new projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy: Providing critical strategy and analytics to the future of our business on a wide variety of topics, such as how to grow our large and diverse merchant base, or how to improve revenue generated from our restaurant-facing products, including our advertisement products.
  • Execution: Own and lead independent initiatives, such as introducing new offerings to our restaurants or eaters, enhancing our market share in a geography, or improving the competitiveness of our restaurant portfolio.
  • Operations: Collaborate with global teams to own the localization of key Merchant products, innovate new processes, and improve restaurant experience on our platform.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in management consulting, program management, tech, data analytics, strategy and planning, finance, or other relevant roles.
  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills.
  • Grit and ownership. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves to do the day-to-day work.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English with high levels of fluency as collaboration with global and regional teams is needed.
  • Relevant experience in online food delivery and e-commerce (especially seller strategy and category management) is a big plus.
  • SQL experience is a big plus.
