Since then, Southampton Airport has grown to become one of the largest airports on the south coast of the United Kingdom. It welcomes 2 million passengers every year and flies to around 40 destinations. SOU Airport is located just 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of Southampton Central, making it a very convenient 15-minute Uber trip away. It is also within easy reach of Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and the South Downs.
