Pickup at Melbourne Airport (MEL)

Find your pickup location

Exit the terminal and head toward the designated Uber Pickup Zone. For Terminals 1, 2, and 3, the Pickup Zone is located right outside Terminal 2. For Terminal 4, the Pickup Zone is located on the ground floor of the T4 car park.

Once you’ve requested a ride, you’ll receive directions through the app. You can also look for Uber signs at MEL that point to the designated pickup areas.

Meet your driver

If requesting an UberX at Terminal 2, you’ll receive a PIN. PIN is currently live at Terminals 1, 2 & 3 between the hours of 7am and 11pm on weekdays, and for reduced hours on weekends.

At all other times, and for other vehicle options, you’ll receive trip requests in the usual way. Your driver’s name, license plate, and car color will show in the app. If you can’t find your driver, contact them through the app.

Smoother UberX Pickups with PIN

-When requesting UberX pick up from Terminal 2, you will receive a 6 digit PIN to match with your driver. -Walk to the Uber pick up zone at Terminal 2 and join the queue for Zone B. -Give your PIN to the first available driver. Verify the vehicle and driver details before you get into the vehicle. -At this time, the PIN feature is exclusive to UberX trip requests from Terminals 1, 2 & 3 during limited hours. For UberX pickups at Terminal 4, you’ll receive trip requests in the usual way.
