One of the 2 primary airports in Tokyo, Haneda Airport is Japan’s busiest airport, servicing the greater Tokyo area. More convenient than its counterpart, Narita Airport, Haneda Airport is only a 25-minute car ride from central Tokyo.
The airport is split between international and domestic terminals. International flights are all in the Haneda International Passenger Terminal, while domestic flights are split between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
The airport offers free shuttle buses that run between the domestic terminals and the smaller International Passenger Terminal every 4 minutes.
In the departure lobby of the International Passenger Terminal, 24-hour currency exchanges are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Another 2 can be found in the international departure area.
