Hamburg Airport visitor information

Hamburg Airport’s history stretches back to 1911, when an airship hangar was built on the site of today’s airport. A century later, HAM Airport has grown to become the 5th-largest airport in Germany and now handles more than 17 million passengers every year. ATMs are situated in various areas of both terminals, dispensing the local currency. HAM Airport has a range of services on offer for passengers with reduced mobility, which are designed to offer an easy and convenient journey through the airport.
