Open your app to request a ride
When you’re ready to walk outside, open your app to request a ride. Choose the option that suits your group size and luggage needs.
Follow directions in the app
You’ll get directions about a pickup point directly in the app. Signs might also be available at the airport.
Meet your driver
Go to your assigned pickup location as specified by the app. Please note, this location may not always be at your nearest exit. If you can’t find your driver, contact them through the app.

Uber is ideal for travelers arriving to or departing from Geneva Airport. Welcoming more than 17 million passengers every year, Geneva Airport is one of Switzerland’s busiest airports.
It is served by the majority of major European carriers and is the easiest way to access Geneva, the surrounding metropolitan area, and many of the French and Swiss ski resorts and chalets from abroad. Furthermore, Geneva International Airport is based about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) northwest of Geneva city center, which makes it easy to access by public transport, airport shuttle, car, or Uber. Buses take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic, while a short train journey to the airport from the city center lasts just 6 minutes.
GVA terminals
Geneva Airport features 2 main passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is much more frequently used, as Terminal 2—the airport’s original terminal—is used only in the winter charter season. As such, it also has far fewer amenities than Terminal 1, but it does host the airport’s train station. Terminal 1 is divided into 5 piers: A, B, C, D, and F.
