Cologne/Bonn Airport started out as a German military airport in 1938 and now welcomes over 12 million passengers through its doors every year. The airport is located approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles) to the southeast of Cologne’s city center, a journey of around 20 minutes, and 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Bonn, with a similar journey time, making the Uber app a great choice for quick and convenient airport transfers.

An assistance service is on offer for passengers with reduced mobility, designed to ensure a smooth and pleasant journey through the airport. This needs to be requested at least 48 hours in advance of your flight. An accompaniment service is available for children 12 and older who are traveling alone and need support or assistance navigating the airport. Porter services are available for passengers who need help with their baggage, both at arrivals and departures.
