Accra Kotoka International Airport has the distinction of being the largest airport in Ghana. The airport has been steadily growing and now has the capacity to welcome 5 million passengers through its doors every year. The airport is located less than 2 kilometers (1 mile) from the center of Accra and around 8 kilometers (5.5 miles) from the Labadi Beach area, both short journeys that make Uber the perfect choice for your airport transfer.

Accra Airport has a great selection of bars and restaurants throughout both terminals, in the public areas and after the security zone. Travelers can choose from a variety of international cuisines, quick snacks, and hot and cold drinks. Money exchange is available in the international arrivals area, the departures area, and the airport square.
Customer service personnel are situated in the Arrival and Departure Halls in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. If you need assistance, they can be identified by their GACL uniforms.
Accra Airport has a good selection of shops, including a duty-free area in both departures and arrivals. There are also shops selling gifts and souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, electronics, clothing, and fashion accessories.
For travelers seeking a rest from the hustle and bustle of the airport, there are 3 lounges available. Located in the Departures Hall of Terminal 3, they are available to access cardholders and fee-paying passengers. At Akwaaba Lounge, passengers can relax with refreshments, newspapers, and magazines. Adinkra Lounge is the ideal choice for business and executive passengers, while Sanbra Lounge offers a luxury experience with a great view of the runway.
ACC has no hotel on-site, but plenty of options are available near the airport in the areas known as Airport City and Airport Residential Area. To the south of the airport around the Labadi Beach tourist area, there are more hotels, and Accra itself has further accommodation options that are just a few minutes’ Uber trip away from the airport.
