About the Role

As an Operations Manager for Uber in Sweden, you will leverage your analytical and operational expertise to support the growth of our platform. You’ll develop strategies, drive business-critical initiatives, and ensure a seamless experience for our customers and partners. You’ll collaborate with local leadership and cross-functional teams on projects that span reliability, pricing optimization, and process innovation, enabling Uber to deliver exceptional experiences in the Swedish market.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Project Initiatives: Identify, scope, and lead projects to improve delivery reliability, timeliness, and customer satisfaction; track progress and communicate key outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform in-depth data analysis, build models, and extract insights to shape business strategies and inform policy decisions.
  • Define and Track Metrics: Establish key performance indicators and build dashboards to monitor ongoing performance; present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Operations, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align projects with broader strategic goals and enhance platform functionality.
  • Innovate Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements that address emerging challenges and drive growth within Sweden’s unique market context.
  • Optimize Pricing and Fraud Detection: Contribute to pricing strategies and develop processes to identify and mitigate fraud, enhancing the overall user experience.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, analytics, management consulting, finance, or a related field, ideally within technology.
  • Strong data analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset and commercial acumen to support sound business decisions.
  • Adaptability to pivot quickly between strategic and tactical responsibilities; able to respond proactively to fast-evolving market dynamics.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a role requiring analytical rigor, such as strategy or analytics within a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in leading cross-functional projects with measurable impact on business performance.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or similar platforms.
  • A mindset aligned with Uber’s values: championing customer obsession, diversity, and a commitment to safety and innovation.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, mobility, or on-demand services is a plus.
