Senior Business Engagement Analyst (Order to Cash)

This position is a hybrid role (in office 50% of the time) and you must be located in or willing to relocate Dallas, TX.

About the Role

The Order to Cash team is looking to add an ambitious Business Engagement Analyst to our rapidly growing finance team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enable business growth across multiple LOBs, including Uber for Business, Uber Direct, and Uber Advertising. In this role you will engage regularly with B2B business owners on new initiatives and business goals, partner with finance teams to develop and support efficient, sustainable and compliant processes, and provide business leaders with clear, relevant data that aids decision making and profitable growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development & implementation of improved Order to Cash workflows & processes across Order Management, Billing, Credit, Cash Application and Collections functions
  • Prepare and lead financial performance presentations for B2B business leadership, guiding discussions to achieve objectives and increase efficiency
  • Identify, research and resolve issues raised by business owners, clearly understanding the cause-and-effect relationship and taking a systematic approach
  • Manage and prioritize multiple complex cross-functional projects given competing priorities and perspectives, and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Develop business requirements documents to build and implement solutions for profitable growth; align upstream and downstream processes and build consensus among key stakeholders
  • Partner with Order to Cash teams, such as GPO and Service Delivery, to implement and manage compliant end-to-end workflows across M&A integrations, global product expansions and strategic account dispute resolution
  • Act as a central point of contact for business stakeholders and finance partners, such as Sales, Business Development, Accounting, Tax and Legal, to proactively manage and resolve business and operational issues in an innovative, efficient, and effective manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in multinational, high tech, and high volume organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong functional knowledge of the following areas: Order to Cash operations, customer record maintenance, customer invoicing, revenue reporting, and reconciliations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with an ability to plan and perform multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience preparing reports, presenting, and managing relationships with management-level partners
  • The ability to think strategically and make the complex simple when developing solutions to support business aspirations
  • Relentless focus on understanding customer preferences, anticipating their needs, and delivering exceptional value and service at every touchpoint
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance and international statutory compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with ERP and OTC software solutions such as Oracle, Salesforce etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience or active exposure to advanced technologies e.g., Machine Learning, AI, RPA
  • Language: fluent speaker/writer in English. Additional languages is a plus
  • Certification in relevant areas (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management) is a plus

For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$88,500 per year - USD$98,750 per year.
