Uploading your documents
To drive using the Driver app, you are required to upload certain documents to get your account set up. Refer to the information below when uploading each document.
- Driver's licence
- Proof of identification
- Screening session
- Profile photo
Make sure all required details are clearly visible
Ensure your document contains all required details before uploading. The entire document should be clearly visible.
Upload your driver's licence first
This will speed up the approval process when we need to cross-check your licence with other documents.
Upload one image or PDF at a time
You can go here to get more information about uploading your documents through the Driver app.
Original documents only
We do not accept photocopied documents, so please make sure you only upload original documents.
Specifications per document
Scroll left and right to see what’s needed for each of the required documents.
Upload the front and back of your Ghanaian driver's license. Some of the elements we look for include:
- Matching driver's name on documents
- Up-to-date on documentation
Please note: this should be a very clear copy of your license - if the photo is not clear, Uber can reject the document and you will need to re-upload.
Proof of identification
You need to provide us with a valid ID. Please note the minimum age is 25 years old.
All driver-partners are required to complete a screening session at their nearest screening test centre or at the Greenlight Hub. Bookings are not necessary.
