Earn points
- Earn 1 point for every trip you take. You can get extra points (3 points) when you drive during peak hours. The more points you earn, the higher the tier you will unlock.
- You collect points during Pro periods that last 3 months: January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December. Your points reset to zero when the next period begins – but what you achieved is not forgotten and your tier status is recognised!
Give great service to riders
Your tier status is based on the total number of points collected over the previous period while maintaining the quality criteria.
- Driver rating 4.85 or above
- Cancellation rate 4% or below

Unlock tiers
Points help determine if you're Blue, Gold, Platinum or Diamond. The higher your status, the more rewards you can get.

- Where can I read more about my Uber Pro rewards and status?
You can find your current Uber Pro status and details of all rewards available in your Uber Pro dashboard within your Driver app.
- How did I get my tier?
Down Small You earn points during fixed 3-month periods. At the start of a 3-month period, your status is determined by the points you earned in the previous 3-month period. You can move up statuses and unlock more rewards at any time if you earn enough points for the next status and maintain certain criteria.
- How is my star rating calculated?
Down Small Your overall star rating is an average of individual ratings provided by riders from your past 500 trips.
- Non-confirmation rate
Down Small If you're a driver with Gold, Platinum or Diamond status and your cancellation rate rises to between 4.01% and 10%, you won't be able to reach a higher status by earning more points. You will maintain your current status and have access to your current rewards.
If your cancellation rate rises above 10%, you will lose access to your Gold, Platinum and Diamond rewards immediately. To earn back your rewards, your cancellation rate must return to 4% or below.
- Do I get points for delivering using the Uber Eats app?
Down Small Drivers who also deliver with Uber Eats will earn points for delivery trips. However, those points are only available within the Eats Uber Pro programme which is a separate Uber Pro programme.
*To receive a cash reward, you must achieve or re-qualify for Diamond status for one full Uber Pro Programme cycle by 31 December 2023. Reward will be given in the calendar quarter after Diamond status is achieved. One time only as Uber tests this new offering. Amount may vary.
To facilitate your participation in the Uber Pro programme, Uber will process certain personal data, as described in more detail above, to calculate your tier status. If you choose to activate a reward offered by a third-party provider, Uber will share your name and contact details to improve the sign-up process and confirm your tier status. The third party provider may collect additional data during their sign-up process, and independently inform you thereof.
The third-party rewards provider will act as the data controller for the personal data it receives from Uber on your behalf and that it collects to provide you with the rewards. We encourage you to read their privacy policy. Uber will be the data controller for the personal data it processes to calculate your tier status and send you updates of your tier status and rewards.
