All PHVs licensed for the first time must be ZEC and meet the Euro 6 emissions standard. Between 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022

PHVs under 18 months old must be zero emission capable (ZEC) and meet the Euro 6 emissions standard when licensed for the first time. PHVs over 18 months old must have a Euro 6 (petrol or diesel) engine when licensed for the first time. If you'd like to know more, you can read TfL's requirements here.

Estate Policy: For UberX we accept Estate versions of every vehicle (i.e. we take the Skoda Octavia which means we also take the Skoda Octavia Estate). However, we DO NOT accept ANY Estate vehicles on Exec or Lux.

We accept manual and automatic transmission vehicles, however we recommend automatic transmission as this makes for a smoother and easier driving experience for the rider and driver.

*If your vehicle model does not appear on our eligible vehicle list, but meets the below stated criteria for Comfort, UberXL, Exec or Lux, fill out this form. In case we decide to add the vehicle model to the eligible vehicle list, it would appear on the list within 4 weeks.
