Pickups at the airport

How pickups work

It’s easy to receive trip confirmations from riders leaving the airport. However, these trips work a little differently than others. To receive a trip confirmations at LTN, you need to enter a dedicated waiting area, where you will be placed in the queue to receive a trip confirmation from the airport.

Here’s how it works:

  • Drive into the dedicated waiting area located at Luton Airport Long Term Car Park and Luton Retail Park on Gipsy Lane.
  • You’ll be placed in the queue for the next pickup—pickups work on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once you receive a trip confirmation, pick up your rider at the Priority Pick-up Zone.
  • If the airport is crowded, consider contacting your rider to confirm their exact location.

Please note that trips starting at Luton on uberX and uberXL follow the specific airport rates. For more information about the rates at the airport you can get a fare estimate.
