Cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace

People who work at Uber come from many different backgrounds. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), led by employees, help to offer community, build belonging, foster our mission and values, and serve as sounding boards for global inclusion while maintaining a localised focus.

Closing the gender gap

Uber is allying with global organisations to help support girls and young women who want to advance their careers in technology.

Reaching our goal of 1 million women driving with the Uber app

Driving has historically been a male-dominated industry. Uber pledged to sign up 1 million women as drivers by 2020, and that number was surpassed in July 2017.
