About the Role
The Uber for Business EMEA Marketing team works to acquire new organisations through thought leadership-driven awareness and lead generation campaigns and strategies. In this role as Content Marketing Manager, you will oversee the Uber for Business EMEA content marketing strategy which includes everything from managing our content campaigns and editorial calendar to producing web videos, case studies or writing long-form content for SEO.
You will also be Uber for Business’ Editor-in-Chief; the local markets are supplied with rich content to resonate with their local audience. This role works cross-functionally with Communications, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing teams to drive product awareness, leads, and more.
You will work to achieve these goals through content-based strategies ranging from native content placements to paid amplification to partnership placements.
What You’ll Do
Own Uber for Business’ EMEA content marketing campaign strategy and execution across a variety of channels including web, paid social, partners, email, and more
Produce a range of multimedia content, ranging from web videos, blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, case studies to support high-level marketing team goals and metrics
Develop content for partners, influencers, product launches, and syndication relationships, owned properties
Work closely with SEO, Product Marketing and Communications to define and drive product and educational narratives
Oversee and optimize Uber for Business Blog and newsletter to customers, and all other owned content
Work with content strategists across the organization to ensure consistency of tone and language across the full customer lifecycle
Build a content strategy (including webinars and events) to cover the EMEA region, focussing on key themes relevant for the target audience across the region
Identify key personas and manage persona mapping and message shaping
Manage translation processes in French, Arabic and Dutch (to start with!)
Manage 3rd party relationships with vendors
Responsible for Sales enablement tools including 1 pagers, presentations for key markets and brochures
What You’ll Need
At least 4 years of post-university work experience
BA/BS in a related field such as journalism, marketing, communications or English.
Excellent command of English language and grammar
A passion for storytelling and top notch editing skills
Experience in B2B marketing, with experience in editorial and strategic content marketing
Strong understanding of paid and organic media channels and how they relate to content and campaign promotion and amplification
A love of writing and content production -- this role will focus heavily on writing
The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive product and educational narratives
Track record of developing and managing a robust editorial calendar
