About the Role


Every month, hundreds of thousands of drivers and couriers across the US and Canada depend on Uber for a flexible, reliable way to earn money.

Drivers are the lifeline of the platform and to strengthen our relationship with them, we’re looking for a marketing manager to set the CRM vision for driver incentives and marketing programs at Uber.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for the quality and impact of promotions & incentive communications our drivers receive across email, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging. You’ll have the support of a CRM design, copy, operations, and analytics team and the ability to partner with product and engineering to bring complex, high-impact, new campaigns to life in a way that surprises and delights our customers.


What You’ll Do

  • Create the strategy and framework for the rapid testing of driver incentives and programs in CRM channels.
  • Establish a strong working relationship between multi-functional stakeholders on our product, operations, and strategy teams to create marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push and in-app messages.
  • Responsible for promotions across the entire drivers lifecycle to onboard, activate, retain and win back drivers.
  • Establish, meticulously analyze, and continuously improve the direct business impacts for all promotional structures.
  • Execute on the created strategies, develop insights, and optimize business results for subsequent programs.
  • Collaborate with data science, market research & marketing analytics teams to understand consumer segmentation / behavior & identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing.


What You’ll Need

  • 5+  years experience in the customer marketing, customer communications, or customer engagement space
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns end to end
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • A record of business results through testing and deploying marketing campaigns across channels
  • Familiarity with CRM technology including ESPs, Segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
