About the Role
As the Global Head of Marketing for Uber for Business, you will envision and execute on a go-to-market, demand generation and growth strategy for Uber in the enterprise space. You will drive high-impact programs to generate demand and improve lead conversion. You will enable a growing sales team with the content, training and analytics they need to have successful sales conversations. You will craft effective launch plans including messaging and pitch. You will drive customer insights and market validation for new products.
Your performance will be measured by the growth of your product, and your ability to collaborate closely with and enhance the productivity of a high-performing cross-functional team that includes counterparts in Product, Design, Engineering, Business Development, and Operations.
What You’ll Do
Lead our product marketing, growth marketing, creative and marketing analytics teams that have global scope
Work closely with our regional marketing teams around the world to set strategy for their regions and cities, support their marketing efforts with tools and infrastructure, and take learnings from local and regional team to inform our global strategy
Drive smart ROI driven marketing strategy and manage growth at scale. This means recruiting the best-in-class talent, taking an analytical approach to problem solving and scaling growth through a customer-centric lens
Work among high-performance engineers, designers and product managers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid technology/operations environment
Articulate and deliver on the strategy and vision for the brand
What You’ll Need
At least 10 years experience delivering highly successful b2b go-to-market, demand generation and growth strategies with your fingerprints all over them - you're extremely proud of what you've accomplished
BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business or related field
A lead generation expert: You can devise highly effective programs to generate qualified leads for your product. You're extremely creative and can rapidly execute on your ideas
Excellent email skills: You possess an uncanny ability to run and iterate on highly effective automated email marketing campaigns
Comfort with data: You go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can turn it into an insightful story. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth
Skilled at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop a meaningful messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan. You can also play copywriter
Top-notch at market research: You're a truth-seeker. You know your market, customers and competition, and you're excellent at integrating this information into your growth strategies
A "driver" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery
Rider-centricity - you have many examples from your past of difficult product challenges that you persevered through because you were unwilling to make your problems your riders' problems
True passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology / operations nature
