About the Role

As an integral part of the Workplace and Real Estate’s Transactions, Projects and Design team, you will work with customers and project teams (including cross functional teams such as: Design, Construction, CRM, lines of business groups, Facilities, IT, AV, Security, EHS, Strategy and Operations, Fintech, Accounting, Brokers, etc) to support all efforts that go into creating a successful experience for our people.

What You’ll Do
    • Work closely with the Global head of transactions, Projects and Design to establish strategic direction and tactical plans to accomplish organizational goals.
    • Ensure all the customer’s needs are addressed in a manner that is consistent with the One Uber  & business growth strategy.
    • Provide strategic guidance, rolling out programs and projects and creating systems and tools across the globe.
    • Create Envision/Project Planning staffing plans with management and external vendors.
    • Manage teams who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs globally.  
    • Work in a collaborative environment and effectively handle stakeholder relationships.  
    • Bring an analytical mind to constantly improve the efficiency of processes, projects, programs as established by the leadership team.
    • Work with customer executives and internal stakeholders to produce a clear scope of work for users, lines of business, facilities, security, IT, and AV to properly support the operation phase of the project.
    • Coordinate timelines for all customer deliverables, using the End to End process for completion and delivery to the customer in close conjunction with the CRMs and GEO leads.
    • Assist Legal with operational contract requirements and help guide the process of contract negotiations when necessary.
    • Support internal and external execution teams and continue to provide resources throughout the entirety of a building’s life cycle, including facilities management and design, to create the best user experience possible.
    • Identify and resolve issues or roadblocks that could impact customer experience, scope, schedule or budget.
    • Must be able to travel globally to oversee projects at various stages.
    • Understand how systems and services operate and work with Real Estate, Design and Construction, Facilities Management, Security, Food Services, and Onsite Amenities teams.
    • Develop and address tactical and strategic issues, managing conflicting interests and task prioritization.
    • Consult, review, advise and establish with business leaders: systems and process design. Gather data requirements and prepare scenarios to meet real estate and workplace services solutions.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, domain & subject matter experts, and other internal teams to drive tactical and strategic milestones.
    • Partner with clients to provide consultative services that align with their business needs and objectives, navigating and negotiating towards mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Support operations and communications and build comprehensive project plans and roadmaps. Navigate shifting priorities, balance priorities across teams, and drive projects to completion.
    • Plan and implement operational objectives and processes to ensure organizational success.


What You’ll Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in project management, construction management, engineering management or related field (e.g., real estate, construction, facilities, business, startups etc)
  • 10+ years of experience in a program management or project management, consulting, facilities management, corporate services, or operations programs
  • PMP, CRE certifications preferred


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in real estate and workplace services
  • Ability to multitask and be part of complex strategy discussions
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage teams who are responsible to deliver a portfolio of projects and programs globally
  • Work in a collaborative environment and effectively handle stakeholder relationships
  • Bring an analytical mind to constantly improve the efficiency of processes, projects, programs as established by the leadership team
  • Ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders to the WP+RE team, and act as a trusted advisor to our internal customers
  • Ability to think out of the box and contribute creative, innovative, tactical, and strategic solutions in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex issues, and present change in a formal, fast-paced, cross-functional setting
  • Excellent project management, analytical, influencing, and relationship building skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of all aspects of the project lifecycle in the design, construction and real estate industry
  • A keen self-starter and ability to work independently and with teams in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to perceive and solve problems
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in compressed time frames
  • Ability to steer and develop relationships with cross functional teams
  • Ability to operate in a stressful environment with competing demands from various stakeholders
