In Recruiting we get to build the teams of Uber’s future.  That’s pretty amazing.  As a Sourcing Manager you’ll help design how we will find, attract and hire the best talent in the world.  You will mentor and develop a team of sourcers and build scalable solutions for a high growth and high demand company. This role is both the Art & Science of Sourcing.  The Art is our story and storytelling, our candidate experience and inspirational leadership.  The science is funnel metrics, total addressable market and all those fun dashboards.  In other words, you are innovative, but you can operationalize those creative ideas.

What You’ll Do

 

  • People Management experience (capable of inspiring and building trust)
  • Pipeline Management (filling the funnel, assessing the funnel) and scale nationwide
  • The need to scale the candidate pipeline nationwide
  • An inner sourcing geek and a passion for sourcing technology
  • The ability to make data driven decisions
  • Strategic partnering across organizations and stakeholder management
  • Operationalizing concepts and streamlining processes and data integrity

 

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • People Management experience (capable of inspiring and building trust)

  • Scaled strategic sourcing strategies that have delivered nationwide
  • An inner sourcing geek and a passion for sourcing technology
  • The ability to make data driven decisions
  • Strategic partnering across organizations and stakeholder management
  • Operationalizing concepts and streamlining processes and data integrity
  • Has built sourcing techniques in the past that maximize the impact of passive, referral and active candidates
  • Adaptability.  You have an ability to collaborate with a wide variety seasoned business leaders and candidates within the tech organization
  • Experience in scaling technical recruiting teams to meet needs of a growing recruiting organization
  • Curiousity.  You are curious about what makes Uber work and how our tech efforts drive the business
  • Thinks in terms of efficiency, scalability, and transparency
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics; uses data to influence change.
  • Loves building teams, growing careers, and inspiring people to do the best work of their lives

 

AND...

 

  • BA/BS degree or related experience
  • At least 5 years technical recruiting leadership experience in similar orgs
  • Demonstrated ability to digest and use data to drive decisions making
  • History of developing, mentoring and managing large, high-output recruitment teams
  • Experience collaborating with org wide stakeholders in documenting and implementing process change
  • Success in developing junior sourcers/recruiters and managing sourcing teams of >5
