About the Role
As the Pickup, Dropoff, and On-Trip Experience Lead, you would lead the team and the efforts responsible for the bread and butter of Uber as a service. This includes all of the mechanisms that we provide riders to set their “A” & “B” in a trip request, as well as all of the tools we provide riders to get to their “A” & “B” successfully post-request.
These products set the foundation to answer complex questions like: How do we determine the best pickup & dropoff points for riders, and present them in the most cohesive way possible in the experience? How might we enable local teams to curate targeted pickups & dropoffs in especially complex physical & regulatory environments? How might we better facilitate communication between riders & drivers after the request for a seamless pickup? What engagement opportunities do we have with riders after they’re in the car?
You’ll work as the lead on this overall product group, while also liaising with marketing, partnership, policy, and many other teams to deliver magical experiences.
