About the Role


Program Managers are the owners of team productivity. We promote visibility and alignment through effective communication, bring efficiency and results through continuous improvement and problem solving, and foster collaboration and teamwork.


You will act as the main cross-team point of contact for all Uber Eats stakeholders across all regions, constantly enforcing our internal process in order to ensure projects include all the right stakeholders, go through all project stages needed, get to market on time and with high-quality deliverables.


To succeed as a Program Manager, you need the ability to multitask, plan, organize and collaborate. Program managers juggle a wide variety of requests with competing deadlines and limited resources. Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly, and Program Managers need to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust the program roadmap as needed.


This position also requires significant collaboration, and Program Managers should have excellent stakeholder management skills. They need to know how to clarify decision accountability and effectively communicate requests and assignments, which includes getting team members to meet deadlines and following up when they don’t, pushing back when unrealistic requests are made and making sure everyone is overall satisfied with the project progress.

  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proficiency in G Suite products (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Slides, Google Sheets, etc)
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or a similar project management tool is absolutely necessary.
  • Additional skills required include time-management, an eye for detail and problem-solving skills.


What You"ll Do

  • Be the main point of contact for Uber Eats stakeholders, Uber Eats performance marketers and all AdTech sub-teams (Product Management, Data Science, Marketing Technology Services, Engineering) for the recently created Uber Eats program.
  • Planning & Measurement: Play a role in the Half yearly planning process, OKR/KPI/Impact definition for Uber Eats asks
  • Governance & Management: On-going OKR/KPI/Impact tracking & reporting; Defining processes & tools for on-going governance & management of the Eats program
  • Program Execution during the Product Lifecycle Management Program execution along the Product Lifecycle (planning, development, launch & go to market)
  • Go To Market: Partner with PMs and Customers to define GTM plan by mega region, business unit, channel etc.
  • Product Launch: Ensure a smooth and successful initial product launch & create awareness via launch comms etc.
  • Operationalize: Global product adoption across the 5 mega regions post initial launch
  • Stakeholder communications: Responsible for drafting and sending Monthly/Quarterly/Half/Annual stakeholder & leadership comms
  • Co-ordinate with the Product Management & development teams based in India.
  • Use a prioritization framework to evaluate if new projects should be added to the roadmap or not.
  • Hold cross functional team members accountable for deliverables per the agreed upon RACI matrix
  • Update the product backlog in SmartSheet with the milestone status and key launch related documents in bi-weekly meetings with PMs.
  • Update the Monthly Product Planning (MPP) deck each month with product launch highlights of the past month & prioritized roadmap for upcoming month. Follow up with the PMs on action items from prior months MPP.
  • Establish and re-evaluate priorities, adjusting the program roadmap as demands and priorities change.
  • Set and enforce a communication cadence to keep all stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Innovate to find new ways of improving integration, collaboration and satisfaction across the program.
  • Innovate for gains in efficiency while operating with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Create high impact materials for any audience, in Google Slides and Google Sheets, reducing complex or complicated information into concise messages and using knowledge of stakeholders’ agendas to ensure maximum engagement.
  • Create, edit and publish content on our internal Program Management dashboard on SmartSheet.
