About the role
One of the most common reasons people take Uber rides is in service of their work. From consultants in New York City to architects in Sao Paulo, riders travelling for work expect to get the most out of their Uber experience, to help them be successful and stress-free at their jobs.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a magical business rider experience. You’ll help the rider in the car be more productive and happier, and the company behind the ride get the most out of every business project. You will:
Deeply understand the needs of business travellers and their organizations.
Internalize Uber’s strategy and blend it with your customers’ needs.
Launch innovative features in the Uber app for millions of riders across the world, rethinking user experience, marketplace dynamics, driver interaction, and customer support.
Partner with sales, business, and strategy leadership to set and attain targets that affect Uber’s bottom-line.
Meet teams throughout Uber, and collaborate with them to adapt their features and plans for business travellers.
Work closely with a fun team of world-class engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers, setting team roadmap and driving execution.
What You’ll Do
A passion to improve human productivity through smarter transportation.
3+ years product management experience developing world-class consumer mobile applications.
Strong customer empathy, and the ability to blend user research with data to create a prioritized product roadmap.
Proven ability to motivate and rally a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams, understand company strategy, and blend broader company goals with your team’s deliverables.
Experience working in a metrics and experimentation driven organization.
Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders.
Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or Design undergraduate degree preferred.
