About the Role
The associate manager of the Incubate & Scale team is a unique opportunity to help grow a brand new function and team in one of the highest growth parts of Uber Eats.
In this role, you’ll manage a team of individual specialists focused on piloting new product features with Uber Eats’ new and existing restaurant partners. The focus of this team is to optimize restaurant operations, test the efficacy of pilot programs, and build playbooks which will be used to scale successful projects across the US and Canada. The manager role demands a unique combination of team management and coaching to goal, optimistic leadership through periods of change (high-growth environment means there’s rarely ‘steady-state’), strategic thinking and nimble problem-solving, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and process architecting chops. This is an intense startup-within-a-much-larger-startup role, and beyond your direct team, you’ll work with functions across Eats, including sales, support, operations, product, and engineering, to drive a step-change evolution in the restaurant experience within Uber Eats.
What You’ll Do
Inspire and lead a team of Client Success Specialists to help restaurants realize their full potential on the Uber Eats platform through product adoption, customer satisfaction, development of new sales opportunities, and retention.
Guide the use of dashboards to monitor business and operational impact, and use those insights to provide operational guidance, including live consulting to help streamline delivery operations.
Drive the feedback process for pilot products and processes designed to drive restaurant growth and success, and that can inform the Uber Eats product and business roadmap
Create processes and tools to standardize best-practices within Restaurant Success and the broader Uber Eats organization.
Identify opportunities and recognize additional revenue potential, including upsell and cross-sell of related products.
Work closely with key cross-functional teams including Sales, Onboarding, Support, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to help define, develop and execute effective strategies that drive increased value for restaurant partners.
Coach specialists on how to build meaningful, lasting relationships to make Uber Eats the delivery platform of choice for our restaurant partners.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university
A minimum of 5 years of experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience managing people directly, ideally in a revenue-generating function; start-up experience a plus!
Ability to motivate and coach large teams to goal.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and adopt a generalist mindset.

Experience creating and optimizing processes.
Startup (all-hands-on-deck) mentality.
Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular.
