About the Role

 

Trucks move everything you buy, why shouldn’t booking a truck be as seamless as booking an Uber?

 

Uber Freight connects shippers with truckers, much like the way the Uber connects riders and drivers. The Uber Freight team believes that empowering truck drivers will bring more open, efficient, and increasingly safer transportation to our roads.

What You’ll Do

  • Show passion for solving the service needs of our customers and transportation partners
  • Support existing customer accounts with the best service
  • Build and schedule loads in our internal systems
  • Work with account managers and customers to address payment issues related to accessorial/line haul payments
  • Serve as a partner to our account managers by anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives
  • Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement
  • Participate in the development, implementation and automation of Standard Operating Procedures used in daily operations

What You’ll Need

  • 0-2 years experience in professional environment within the logistics, operations or customer service industry
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers and internal partners
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution—we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems under pressure
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to be resourceful, scrappy, and get things done
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

Bonus Points If

 

  • Zendesk experience preferred, but not required
  • You are bilingual in both Spanish and English
  • Experience in the logistics or Freight industry
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

 

About the Team

 

The Uber Freight Account Coordinator team serves as a partner to our external clients and internal Account Management team. You will be responsible for scheduling loads, anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives.
