About the Role

 

 

Uber’s LatAm Greenlight team is part of the Community Operations team. We implement strategy, planning, innovation, and business development for the company’s regional network of Uber Greenlight locations, our in-person locations that serve drivers. These locations are one of the company’s key growth channels for getting drivers on the road and keeping them engaged with Uber. It’s an extremely rewarding and challenging team to work with as Uber Greenlight locations are the face of Uber for driver-partners, and our operations are essential for Uber’s growth around the globe.

 

We are focused on bringing unique Greenlight retail experiences through growing our line of partnerships across multiple verticals, and deliver value to our driver partners by making great deals on relevant goods and services.

 

As a Strategic Retail Partnership Consultant on the Greenlight retail partnership team, you will lead the charge to formalize an engaging retail experience within the Greenlight and Pop Ups locations. You will be all geared up to ensure partnership success while working closely with internal teams.

What you will do:

  • Track and have a bird's eye view of the region’s partnerships and their performance in your territory (GL interactions, sales, current promotions).
  • Lead and manage projects focused on your region.
  • Supervision of look & feel of the vendors (Branding, staff, etc) through the vendor scorecard management
  • Manage the essential critical relationships with retail vendor partners on a regular basis with a 5 stars quality service in order to have a successful account management.
  • Manage the tiny details that will keep us flowing towards our goals. Make sure vendors are committed (contracts, invoices and payments) with us and driver partners.
  • Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, by tracking and analyzing performance via quantitative and qualitative analyses, and communicating scope of improvement based on GL interactions. Develop the tools and processes that will help local teams manage partnerships better. Help us implement best practices across partner locations, and measure the impact through surveys and key metric analyses 
  • Keep in contact with your local Greenlight POC’s in order to make sure that the retail partners are performing according to the expectations
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners to negotiate and drive contracts to closure; manage these key strategic relationships to maximize value for both Uber and our driver partners
  • Thrive on creating new ways to add to existing partnerships. You’ll be making those not so obvious connections that drive innovative partnerships and initiatives to grow our business
  • Follow up and execution of the Pop Ups at third party locations strategy built by the GL team 
  • Support as well as monitor execution of communication strategy for retail and pop-up partnerships
  • Planning and execution of driver focused engagement events

 

What skills you’ll need:

  • Ability to influence and develop business relationships with partners at all levels, and navigate multiple partner engagements simultaneously
  • English proficiency. Speaks fluently, writes and understands.
  • Process oriented, with the ability to think along the lines of scalable solutions that have an impact across an entire region
  • Data driven, analytical thinker who is able to explore new opportunities through critical problem-solving skills
  • On-point communication skills for formal interactions and meetings with external vendors
  • Excel skills; ability to manage worksheets and dashboards to track performance
  • Graduate degree required
