How to drive with Uber in Croatia
Uber is a great way to be your own boss and make money. Most people are eligible to drive with Uber. Here’s what you need to know if you’re driving in Zagreb and on Croatian coast.

Get started

1. Sign up online

Got an email address and a smartphone? Great, now tell us a bit more about yourself and we’ll get you started.

2. Upload your documents

Time for some paperwork. There are documents we need to see from you:

For drivers:

  • ID card
  • Driver License
  • Criminal record
  • Initial qualification for taxi drivers
  • A driver profile photo
  • A statement of the relationship between the fleet partner and the driver partner, uploaded in the field Type of employment

For fleet partners:

  • Bank statement
  • Croatian Taxi Licence
  • Declaration on the Establishment of the company / crafts
  • Digital fiscal certificate issued in FINA

3. Add vehicle

If you have a vehicle that meets the requirements in Croatia, you will need to fill out the vehicle details and upload the following documents:

  • Vehicle registration

4. Activate your account

If you’ve completed all the above steps, congratulations! You’re ready to activate your account and start making money.

How to complete the registration process?

A fiscal invoice is issued for each ride on the Uber platform. At the end of each of your trips, the invoice is automatically generated and the user receives it in digital form by e-mail.

An overview of all issued invoices for a particular company/trade is visible on their profile on partners.uber.com page. This is the page where you can also see all information related to your company/trade and the drivers who drive for you.

How to achieve digital fiscalization?

  1. Upload all necessary documents for partners (listed above)
  2. Fill out your Banking account inside the Uber Driver app
  3. Finish setting up your partner profile by uploading your digital fiscal certificate to Tax settings field inside the Uber Driver app

Instructions for obtaining a fiscal certificate for self-employed Partner-drivers:

Before going to FINA, you will need:

  • A copy of the identity card

  • A copy of the extract from the court register

  • NKD copy from the company

  • Application for issuance of the certificate for fiscalization (you will get it in Fina) – 1 copy

  • Agreement on the provision of certificate services (you will receive it at Fina)

  • Proof of payment and fees for issuing production application certificates for fiscalization
