UberEATS will launch in collaboration with over 75 of Joburg’s best local restaurants, opening up a diverse range of culinary experiences, cuisines and cultures to Joburgers – no lines, no waiting for a table and no reservation needed.
From 29 September 2016, you can download and open the UberEATS app – available on iOS and Android – and choose from hundreds of dishes from the finest restaurants in town – including Casalottis Pizza Rapido, Momo Baohaus and Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream – and have it delivered directly to your door.
With hours of operation from 7am – 10pm 7 days a week and a R20 flat delivery fee, you’ll always be able to get great food delivered to you! From Sandton to Parkhurst, Bryanston to Melville, and everywhere in between.
How to order
- Download the UberEATS app: sign up or sign in with your Uber login details
- Browse local restaurants: search for your favourite local spot, or try something new.
- Pay with a tap: pay with your card already on file
- Track your order. Watch in-app as your order is prepared, picked up and delivered to your door.

UberEATS connects local restaurants with a reliable delivery option, effectively expanding their capacity and reach to be able to service a whole new network of potential customers. Through the Uber platform, restaurants can work with a network of couriers to get more meals delivered to more customers, quickly and reliably whenever they are open.
