How to complete a Safety Screening or Driving Evaluation

At Uber, we see safety as one of the pillars of our services. To assure safety is maintained at all time, we have introduced various actions which provide safety to both our driver-partners and riders. One of these actions is requiring all driver-partners to pass a safety screening (and a driving evaluation for some cities).

Driver Evaluations

Required for partners who want to start driving in Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Cost is from R300
