Driver Screenings

All potential driver-partners must complete a criminal background screening process before they can accept trip requests through the Uber app. This includes passing a driving competency test, screening session and safety screening. If a driver does not pass all of these requirements, then he/she cannot drive with Uber.

Vehicle Inspection

In order to drive on the Uber platform, every vehicle must pass an independent annual inspection to verify that it is safe to drive.
