About the Role

 

Our Recruiting Operations team is looking for an Associate Program Manager to support and execute on various programs across the Recruiting org and enhance the experience for everyone involved in hiring at Uber. The ideal candidate will move quickly as a builder and a do’er, proactively partnering with stakeholders to ensure we continue hiring the most inclusive and high performing team. The Associate Program Manager sees the world through people, processes and technology to continue innovating our hiring practices.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Advance and nurture recurring strategic initiatives for the global Recruiting team through research, creative design, and innovation 
  • Measure the effectiveness of our global programs through partnership with our People Analytics Team with a focus on understanding how we can constantly improve what we're doing
  • Align key stakeholders across the company on high impact Recruiting programs, including vision, goals, and insights
  • Build and foster strong relationships with cross functional partners across the company, including the Recruiting, People, and Executive Leadership teams
  • Support the strategic planning process for the Recruiting organization including consulting with stakeholders to assess program needs, recruiting technology roadmap and budget management
  • Maintain ongoing technology and process ecosystem and roadmap of enhancements
  • Update, create and manage slide decks / documents (through the Google suite) and intranet pages to ensure smooth execution of programs

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, HR or recruiting, consulting or strategy and planning while navigating complex environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence senior leadership and facilitate discussion amongst key stakeholders groups 
  • Experience telling a story and getting relevant and actionable information out of complex data sets
  • Cultural awareness to enable the localization of business solutions and scale local best practices to continuously optimize our global hiring process
  • Self-motivated with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving and driving action
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders, powered by data-driven insight
  • Experience with process optimization, program management, customer support strategy or quality assurance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; the ability to structure ideas into actionable plans

The Recruiting Operations team drives and supports multiple projects and oversees various programs and technologies that support our company’s mission to hire the best and most diverse talent. Our customers include a global Recruiting org of over 500, and various partners spanning across all of Uber.
