On the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, we’re helping to scale our most impactful processes and initiatives, support markets, and drive innovation in the business. The Marketplace Operations team is responsible to build the tools and processes to help ensure a “balanced” marketplace for eaters, restaurants and couriers. Activities include (but are not limited to) live-ops monitoring, system settings, fraud and pricing and incentives. You’ll drive key KPIs related to eater experience and overall reliability in the marketplace.
What You'll Do
Identify operational optimisations in the region in terms of Marketplace (reliability, efficiency, courier payout) and help improve or innovate new processes
Create new and scale existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow, and to give time back to countries
Build credibility and deliver value to the local operation teams (strong stakeholder management), through insights & analytics, and end to end process management of key tasks
Ensure the interface between EMEA Operations and Product teams (gathering and structuring Product asks, deploying new product features, tracking & follow-up on bugs, etc.)
Provide insights to local markets (building analytics, dashboards) around reliability, efficiency, courier payout, and more generally process / product features performance
Find ways to drive headcount efficiency in the markets, by pulling processes out of local markets to simplify, standardize and streamline from a regional level (EMEA)
Find key opportunities to help improve local operations by surfacing key insights and wins from other markets, and then work to implement and execute regionally (if applicable)
Collaborate with Uber Eats cross-functional teams in the EMEA HQ, Amsterdam (other Regional Ops teams, S&P, Community Operations)
What You’ll Need
A minimum of 5 years of analytical, operational and/or consulting experience
Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
Creative solutions driven mindset, with a get things done attitude
Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
Experience working closely and communicating effectively with diverse set of stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
