We understand there are moments where riders might accidentally request a pick-up from the wrong address. Sometimes, this experience begins with a phone call and ends with a cancelled ride. With the valuable feedback from drivers and riders, we’re excited to roll out a new feature in Singapore today – Pickup Correction! This feature allows riders to modify their pickup location while their driver is on the way.
This tweak is designed to save time, frustration and money by giving riders like you more control and flexibility to solve for those moments when things don’t go exactly as planned.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Once your driver is en route, tap “Edit” next to your pickup location
- Enter your new pickup address or move the pickup pin
- Tap “Confirm”
- Drivers will be notified of the new location and have their route updated (experience will vary for in-app and out-of-app navigation)
