Get ready for UberSESSIONS!

1.1 The Contest Organizer (“Contest”) is Uber B.V, established in accordance with Polish law (registration number 147019422), Meester Treublaan 7, 1097 DP Amsterdam (“Organizer”).

1.2 The organizer declares that the Competition is not a game of chance, a lottery, a mutual bet, a promotional lottery, the result of which depends on the case, or any other form provided for in the Act of 19 November 2009 on Gambling (Journal of Laws of 2009 No. 09 item 1540).

1.3 The Organizer submits the public promise specified in the Regulations and is solely responsible for conducting the Competition.

1.4 The competition is announced via Email, In-app message, Facebook, Instagram and is organized within “Uber Sessions” activation carried out from 18/06/2018 to 19/06/2018 .

2.1. Joining the promotion is voluntary and means acceptance of the provisions of the Regulations.

2.2. The Competition runs from 18/06/2018 by 19/06/2018 within UberSessions activation

2.3. The Competition is organized on the territory of Warsaw.

2.4. The Competition Participant (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”) may be any natural person who jointly meets the following conditions:

2.5 We expect a high demand during UberSessions. The number of invitations & driver-partners is limited, and Uber B.V. does not guarantee the delivery to each Uber user.

2.6. To participate in Competition the person needs to accomplish the following steps:

Participants of the Organizer and Partner are excluded from the Competition, including temporary employees or contractors of the Organizer and Partner, and other entities cooperating with the Organizer or the Partner in the organization of this Competition, as well as their close relatives. The close relatives are the spouse, siblings, second-degree affinities, ascendants, descendants and their spouses, the persons remaining in the adoption ratio and the persons who live together.

2.9. Each case of violation by the Participant of these Regulations will result in the Participant being excluded from participation in the Competition.

2.10. It is forbidden for the Participants to post in the comments any content that violates good customs, applicable law or violate any rights of third parties, vulgar content, propagating violence.

3 PRIZES

3.1. The Participant of competition, whose request was accepted by UberSessions partner driver, will receive 2 invitations to the UberSessions event

3.2. The invitations and delivery of invitations are free of charge

3.3. To attend the event, the winners should arrive with the invitations to verify the Prize entitlement (invitations).

4.1. Each participant has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the Competition.

4.2. Complaints related to the Competition should be submitted in electronic form, sent via the contact form to the Organizer: via the Uber application or via help.uber.com

4.3. Complaints may be submitted within 7 calendar days from the end of the Competition.

4.4. The complaint should include the name and surname of the complainant, the address for correspondence and a description of the grounds for the complaint.

5 FINAL PROVISIONS

5.1. These Regulations are available at the Organizer’s office and at  https://www.uber.com/blog/ubersessions-warszawa/

5.2. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Regulations in justified cases, provided that changes can not deprive Participants of their rights acquired on the basis of the Regulations. Changes will be made in the form of annexes to the Regulations marked with a subsequent number and date and will not lead to a deterioration of the conditions of participation in the Competition

5.3 Participants will be notified via the email about the completion or change of the Competition rules

5.4. The organizer is not liable in case of impossibility to contact the Participant due to providing false or incorrect data – in this case the prize remains at the Organizer’s sole disposal.

5.5. The organizer is not responsible for technical problems on Facebook.

5.6. In case of violation of the Regulations by the Participant, the Jury appointed by the Organizer may exclude it at every stage of the Competition.

5.7. In matters not covered by the Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.

5.8. The competition is in no way sponsored, supported or conducted by Facebook or a company associated with it. All questions, comments, complaints and complaints related to the Competition should be directed to the Organizer, and in no case to the owners or administrators of the Facebook social network. The participant releases Facebook from liability for any damage incurred in connection with the Competition.

5.9. The rights and obligations of the Organizer and Participants of the Competition are specified solely in these Regulations of the Competition and in the relevant legal provisions. All information about the Competition available in advertising materials is for informational purposes only
