About the Role
At Uber, we are ambitious, engaged and excited about transforming the way the world moves. This role will report directly into the Director of New Mobility Global Product Operations (GPO) and will be based in San Francisco, CA. The role is currently an individual contributor, but may have future opportunities to build a team based on business needs.
What you’ll do
Own the Global Product Operations (GPO) team financial modeling, including forecasting, budgeting, PO spend analysis, and long-range planning.
Research and analyze financial and operational metrics and suggest/ drive improvements.
Understand key variables and drive improvements in GPO cash flow model.
Identify and prioritize key business opportunities and actively take initiative on delivering impact and solutions.
Develop and manage dashboard reporting the key metrics (KPIs)
Prepare and distribute financial reports identifying improvement opportunities with key stakeholders.
Develop and present timely analysis for operating results on a periodic basis.
Provide financial guidance for GPO team and corporate finance.
Structure and advance complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
What you’ll need
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance or equivalent.
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, MBA preferred.
Ability to work well within a team.
Ability to prioritize, self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured and dynamic environment.
Exceptional financial modeling and scenario analysis skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
High level of comfort presenting analysis and information to various stakeholders including senior management and corporate finance.
Experience in Asia, Europe and North America is preferred.
