A boost to earnings: making every trip worthwhile

10 May 2023 / New Zealand

Whether it be in the Uber Advisory Forums or through driver-partner surveys, we’ve received consistent feedback regarding  shorter trips on the platform. That’s why we are adjusting recommended fares to make sure every trip is worthwhile.

This means you can earn more on some trips, especially those on the shorter end of the spectrum. For more specifics please check the Uber Driver App.

Listening to your feedback

“Short trips are not worth the drive. Need to change the remuneration for short trips.”

->Driver through Satisfaction Survey

Driver-partner feedback on fares was critical to these changes. We are continuing to listen to your feedback to develop sustainable solutions that help make the Uber platform a positive experience for everyone. Be on the lookout for more information on how to provide feedback for this year’s Advisory Forums.

The temporary fuel surcharge will remain in place until further notice.

^These changes do not vary your Services Agreement. For more information on fares generally, please refer to your Services Agreement which can be found by visiting partners.uber.com.
