About the Role
The AVMaps Metrics Specialist is responsible for assisting and coordinating all metrics and analytics projects regarding the development, build out, and maintenance of maps.
What You’ll Do
Dive deep into complex data to uncover hard-to-find trends and insights and synthesize insights to clearly tell the data story
Assist with the design and delivery of reports that possess clarity and actionable conclusions
Collaborate with the Project Analyst and Autonomy Production Leads on a regular basis regarding metrics development within the tools or as an output from the tools specific to AVMaps
Perform studies on our production process through A/B tests to pull insights in the production process and tell a complete data story
Develop with the Autonomy Production leads a method to determine what metrics are required to measure the team members and the map production pipeline process
Contribute to the development and monitor the Key Performance Indicators to measure successes and progress towards AVMaps goals
Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, A/B test results, and Key Performance Indicators to locate and correct data integrity issues
Coordinate with Project Analyst and the Autonomy Production Leads on the maintenance of complex dashboards to help inform decision making by stakeholders
Monitor detailed pipeline metrics for all automated production pipelines to measure successes and progress on improvements
Prioritize multiple projects by business need and deliver with some supervision, even with pressing or ambiguous deadlines
Coordinate with the metrics leads in our remote centers to ensure that the metrics reported are consistent and accurate
Posses enough context to be able to define a problem to be solved and either solve or utilize team members to solve that problem
Generate predictions using statistical techniques for use in scheduling and resource allocation
Be the point of contact for the ATG Maps Project Team on cost analysis
Expected to grow into the subject matter expert for metrics in AVMaps AutonomyProduction
What You’ll Need
BS or equivalent experience in a related field
2-4 years experience in a metrics or related environment
Ability to create specific instructions and set procedures for their given area of responsibility
Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and validates assumptions about data correctness
Ability to share knowledge and coach less experienced peers
Solid proficiency and understanding at SQL in a scripting language (R / Python)
Excellent analytical skills
Strong technical aptitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
