About the Role
The Uber Freight business is growing rapidly, and is expanding internationally for the first time - to Europe. The freight industry in the European Union has a unique set of strategic and operational challenges. It’s our vision at Uber Freight to transform the industry by creating an efficient, safe, and a high-quality experience for commercial shippers and carriers by matching freight loads through technology.
Our Mid-Market Acquisition Account Executive owns the strategic acquisition of new businesses. This individual will be assigned a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for setting the acquisition strategy, managing the contractual process, and formalizing the RFP approach.
These individuals are obsessed with delivering world class service to our mid market customers and contributing directly to the top line growth of Uber Freight. The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and highly entrepreneurial, obsessed with driving customer success, motivated by building and shaping the future, and a proven leader at driving customer growth. What You’ll Do
Drive top-line growth for our mid-market customers portfolio, and simultaneously onboard new customers successfully
Drive forward the future vision of Uber Freight with our product team and help sell that vision to our customers
Engage with senior level stakeholders from our customers
Solution and Product selling to mid-market accounts
Set initial pricing strategy for RFPs
Collaborate with a highly diverse set of internal and external partners
What You’ll Need
Minimum 5 years experience in a sales function
Experience in the logistics & transportation industry is strongly preferred
Ability to travel for client meetings and engagements
Demonstrated ability selling to C-suite customer stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to challenge the way customers think about their business
Strong communication and organization skills
Ability to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to customers
